Belgian artist Wim Delvoye shows a brilliant set of sculptures for his new at exhibit "Rorschach" at Emmanuel Perrotin Gallery in the Marais. He uses the the principle of Rorschach tests as his influence.
In the main room on the left of the gallery are gleaming figures of Christ in metal bent into a circular shape. The mirrored wall behind them and white fluorescent tubes above heighten the experience and you feel like you are in a room of infinite liquid silver.
In the second room there are twisted interpretations of Gothic cathedrals in bronze with the fines, most minute detailing. The last series are bright copper which reactivate mythological figures originally sculpted by Auguste Moreau, Antonin Mercié, and Jean de Bologne.
Delvoye also has a show simultaneously at the Louvre till September 17, in case you miss the show at Perrotin.

I am happy to announce the launch of Eye Prefer Paris Cooking Classes. Come take an ethnic culinary journey with me and chef and caterer Charlotte Puckette, co-author of the bestseller The Ethnic Paris Cookbook (with Olivia Kiang-Snaije). First we will shop at a Paris green-market for the freshest ingredients and then return to Charlotteís professional kitchen near the Eiffel Tower to cook a three-course lunch. After, we will indulge in the delicious feast we prepared along with hand-selected wines.
